Stylish lighting and comfortable furnishings make our bed and breakfast the ideal place for relaxing and enjoying hospitality at its finest.
You decide how active or relaxed your days and nights will be. Indulge in an afternoon nap, or watch a favorite movie while sipping wine in your room. When you do venture out, the Lamberson Guest House is just steps away from the shopping, dining, and unique attractions that make Galena such a wonderful destination.
The Lamberson Guest House is a Galena Traditional-style mansion, originally built in 1870. An Italianate-inspired porch and hand-carved leaded glass doors usher guests into this beautifully maintained piece of history. Intricately carved woodwork and leaded glass details complement the elegant decor throughout the entire home. The heart pine floors and gorgeous hand-carved mantle surrounding the original tiled fireplace and the original gas-lights and leaded windows remind one of the 1800s, and of life as it may have been for the Lamberson family who built this magnificent home.
We hope you choose to stay with us, and look forward to sharing the comforts and hospitality of our historic home with you.
