Wake Up to a New Day at Our B&B Accommodations in Galena

Start your morning at Lamberson Guest House with one of the best breakfasts in Galena, IL. Our three-course breakfast is served every morning at 9:00 in our dining room. Fresh brewed coffee is available each morning at 7:00 on the second-floor coffee bar for those early risers, or you can help yourself to our selection of Keurig coffees, teas and cocoa.

All of our food is prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients. Breakfast begins with juice, coffee, or tea – or a complimentary mimosa – along with a homemade breakfast treat, such as a warm, buttery Raspberry Cream Cheese Pastry Pinwheel, Banana Dark Chocolate scone, or Lamberson Signature Cinnamon Biscuit, served warm with butter. Our second course is always a seasonal fruit creation. Be prepared to indulge in Yogurt-Berry Parfaits, Pineapple Boats, or maybe fresh apples poached in cinnamon syrup. Our entrees may be a luscious Maple Cream and Bacon filled Brioche French Toast, Tri-Cheese and Sausage Pie with Tomato Bacon Gravy, or possibly Eggs Benedict with Creamy Hollandaise Sauce . Our entrees often have a side of sausage, ham, or bacon. We are proud to say that our breakfast meats are sourced locally, and we feel they are the best ever.

We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs with a 10-day advance notice, so please let us know when making your reservations.

In addition to breakfast, there are freshly baked cookies available in the main parlor all day, every day for your enjoyment, as well as coffee, tea, cocoa, bottled water and soft drinks.

What better treat than a complementary glass of wine or beer, along with cheese or hors d'oeuvres before venturing into town for the evening? A charcuterie tray with drinks are offered daily at 4:00 in the parlor or courtyard, weather permitting. Relax and unwind from your busy day, meet new friends, or peruse restaurant menus while deciding where to enjoy your special dinner in town.
